Arthur Mellows is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join our dynamic, friendly and supportive team. The successful candidate will enjoy working with young people and play a key role in supporting students within the College. They will be a caring, creative, proactive and enthusiastic individual with the ability to support high quality teaching and raise attainment for students across various curriculum areas.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our students thrive academically, emotionally and socially. The role requires the candidate to work closely with teachers and other support staff. Your day will be spent in classrooms, working alongside students in small groups or supporting a student on a one to one basis to fully understand the lesson. Learning Support Assistants move around the College to support students with their education. We are looking for an empathetic and adaptable individual who thrives under pressure and has the natural ability to solve challenges. The role requires good physical and emotional resilience as part of this role will be to provide personal care for physically disabled students as required. To support our students the ideal candidate will have a good standard of written and spoken English and Maths skills.

The Four Cs Academy Trust is looking to appoint a full time, enthusiastic and well-qualified Deputy Finance Manager to join and help lead the team, working closely with and supporting the Trust Finance Manager to ensure the efficient operation of the Trust Finance function. 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, forward-thinking Trust. It is crucial that the successful candidate can travel between the schools to meet the needs of the role. This is a key appointment where you will be responsible for operational aspects of financial management and control across the Trust, including supervising Finance staff, management accounts, month-end routines, payroll, budgeting, query handling and communication with various stakeholders. The priorities of the role will be to ensure timely, efficient and accurate processing of transactions by the finance team and maintaining well managed accounts to support the schools with their financial management. 

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working in a Finance role in a school finance office or a business office, in a supervisory role. Relevant technical financial and accounting experience is essential. A flexible and adaptable approach will be required, as well as the ability to manage your own substantial workload to meet challenging deadlines.

Arthur Mellows Village College is seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to supervise whole classes during short term teacher absences. As a Cover Supervisor you will pay a vital role in delivering pre-set work for students to enable them to continue their learning. You will cover lessons of any subject using the cover work set by the teacher. You will be required to set high expectations to motivate and challenge students whilst managing behaviour effectively and promoting a positive learning environment. This is a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the school.
