Arthur Mellows is a secondary school located in the village of Glinton on the outskirts of Peterborough. The school is very successful and over-subscribed. Behaviour is excellent and students are keen to learn. 

We are looking to appoint an Attendance and Alternative Provision Officer to support students at the College and those out of school or needing alternative provision whilst improving attendance and punctuality at the College. We are looking for a proactive, creative and forward thinking person to raise attainment and achievement for students. It is desirable that candidates have appropriate training and qualifications. The role will include tutoring students off site on a one to one basis at the student’s home in core subjects up to GSCE level. In addition the successful candidate will support, guide and teach small groups of students who are not progressing successfully in mainstream lessons.
