Our guest speaker was Matty Edgell, winner of the Great British Bake Off 2023, and former Peterborough teacher.

Matty presented our alumni with their certificates and subject awards as well as our former Head Girl, Ayeisha Kone-Massouma and Head Boy, Daniel Kalish with their special awards.

He then spoke to us about his experiences as a teacher, on being entered into the competition by his girlfriend and how he overcame imposter syndrome and significant setbacks along the way.

It was a truly inspirational presentation that resonated with all our returning students and guests alike.

Matty then stayed behind to chat with us afterwards as well as having numerous selfies taken!

It was a wonderful evening.
